SURYAKANTHI FOUNDATION ‘WE TOGETHER’

Working for the social, educational, cultural and vocational development of Dalits and Tribal people, who have been mercilessly marginalized from the main stream society, is a self motivated non- governmental organization fighting for the protection of the social justice, human rights, and equality of the common man. It has been functioning in Kerala since 1996.

Self motivated organization “Suryakanthi Foundation” register number 84/1996 have started interacting in social issues from 1991. Even before its registration in 1996. This organization have done many meaning full and remarkable activities in the area of Culture, public health, education, ecology and welfare of the SC and ST.

The lesson we have got from a long period of twenty three years of experience, are very hopeful and forceful for our future activities. This particular situation is very encouraging and now we are confident enough to prepare and submit deferent projects that help social change to the society, and to execute them with the help of various government departments and public representatives.

We have well prepared and efficient functionaries to coordinate deferent areas like welfare of the old age people, welfare of youngsters, scheduled caste and scheduled tribes welfare anti drug, anti alcoholism campaigning in the local administration bodies.

To contribute for the achievement of equality to each and every individual by empowering them and creating a space for the marginalized communities.

MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN

I am proud to serve as the chairman of opportunity in an organization. I have been involved since 1996, as one of the oldest Non-profit organization in Kerala.

Opportunity is invested in building the best community possible. We believe that social change only happen through a humanitarian co-operation. The government has supported as in our endeavours to build a strong platforms for the marginalized people, in addition the foundation organized various cultural and diversities activities including workshops on a variety of social cultural and medical issues. The Suryakanthi foundation also teamed up with other organization and foundations working in the same field to solve social problems of marginalized community.

We will work towards finding the best solution to every possible obstacle facing as in building a modern humanitarian society; it is a duty we will carryon for the sake of generation to come.
